Chattanooga is Cruz Country !!!
Senator Ted Cruz was in Chattanooga, TN this morning and spoke to more than 1,000 thrilled, excited, hopeful American citizens about Conservative principles and his plans to move America back to the path of "true North"
Senator Cruz was personable, friendly and statesman-like, and rather than speak down to the delighted audience as though the many professional attendees were little children in need of a more superior being to guide and succor them, he spoke as an equal in the dire need we have to return our nation to the directives of the Constitution, and liberty and freedom.
He pledged to repeal every word of ObamaCare and to strengthen our military and deal with the Islamic terrorists.
He was intelligent, forthright and funny at times, stating that he would abolish the IRS and place the 90,000 employees on the border to prevent illegal aliens from crossing into our sovereign country.
He gave time to the audience for a Q&A session, and answered questions on the VA and the military. Unfortunately nobody asked about his plans for the many millions of illegal aliens residing within our borders but that question might be answered at another stop on his eight state campaign trip.
At this moment the future President Cruz is continuing his journey in his impressively captioned campaign bus and is due to arrive in Murfreesboro, TN, within the hour.
Senator Cruz was unhurried, and approachable and although there were security with him, none directed the eager crowd or controlled the happy Tennesseans, asking for books and signs to be autographed and taking selfies with the smiling candidate.
I think all in attendance in Chattanooga left the Graceworks Church with the belief we had been visited by the next President of the United States.
.
Was that the Murfreesboro event at 11.30am ?
I was there in Chattanooga, but didn’t shake Ted Cruz’s hand. Maybe next time. I was very impressed. He was so relaxed and unpretentious. He would be good for this country and would first consider the impact of his decisions on future generations as the Founding Fathers did. The politicians today are self-serving and only consider how they are personally affected by decisions; not was is best for the country.
