Has anyone tried coconut water? I think it tastes like b.o. I have never tasted b.o., but coconut water tastes just like I imagine it would taste. GROSS!

I don’t shop at whole foods. It’s too expensive and fru-fru for my relatively unsophisticated tastes. It would be nice to afford a $4 head of lettuce that listened to classical music as a seedling, but mac-n-cheese from a box sometimes has to do.

but is it sustainable

was it FREE RANGE.. asparagus???

the 5.99 price certainly seems to be in line with Whole Foods generally inflated pricing practices!

hmmm

my local market juts started selling Water....from Norway.....

allegedl;y from norway.

what does a gallon of water cost to ship from Norway to California?

why would anyone be willing to PAY for such an item?

Asparagus water certainly seems like a related item...

Labeling error? lol!

More a case of trying to exploit the stupidity of some consumers.

I was in whole foods recently, and was behind a man and woman in their forties, looked fit, (and probably both cheating), buy lunch for themselves. Two pre-packaged sushi lunches and two canned juices. I watched the register ring it up. Almost $25.

If people are stupid enough to buy it, I don’t know why anyone cares.

People bought millions of Pet Rocks in the 70’s. Where as the outrage?

BTW, the Brentwood/Delta area is where 90% of the country’s asparagus comes from.

If that wasn’t irradiated, it could have killed some of the customers who bought it. In order to be shelf-stable without refrigeration, vegetables and fruit must be irradiated (aseptic) or properly pressure cooked and properly sealed.
