Has anyone tried coconut water? I think it tastes like b.o. I have never tasted b.o., but coconut water tastes just like I imagine it would taste. GROSS!

When I’m in the Philippines, I try a lot of crazy stuff. One was moonshine from coconut, I kid you not.

It’s gross on its own, but I like in smoothies.

Coconut water tastes great IMHO, but is often overpriced in US markets.
I’ve had water fresh from green coconuts off the tree in the Caribbean, and I think it’s delicious.
Unfortunately, water from anything has been promoted to ridiculous prices, including, unfortunately at times, coconut water.

My cousin loves drinking Coconut water. I tried it once, almost puked, absolutely disgusting I dont know how people drink that stuff

The coconut “water” I buy at the Asian store is delicious. I happen to love coconut.
I can’t comment on the stuff that is sold in the grocery stores. Never tried it. Costs twice as much.

My 3 year old loves it and it’s pretty much all he drinks. My husband will drink it if he’s working outside and sweating a lot. I can’t get used to the flavor of it, but I love the coconut meat.
