[Prayer Request] Having surgery tomorrow, Wed, 7/29 [update: 127]

Last wed evening, 7/24, I fell down the stairs at home and broke my right humerus. Visited ER and got an x-ray, cast, etc.

At 9:45 in the morning, 7/29, I'm having a surgical procedure to put a rod in my humerus from the shoulder to elbow.

Asking for prayer. I know that God won't give us more than we can bear.

I didn’t know this happened to you, so glad you made it through the surgery and your arm is put back together.

An engineer family member was afraid I would fall down the stairs going from my second floor to the first floor and I lived alone so he wanted to fix it so it was less likely I would fall.

He bought white handholds like you see in bathrooms (got them at Lowes), and installed them on the wall going down the stairs; there are seven of them - they are solidly on the wall and look nice. I hold onto each handhold, moving from one to the other, as I come down the stairs.

You might think of doing this to give you more stability going down stairs.

Just wondering if the doctor gave you an xray film in a big envelope to keep. A friend of mine had to have a large titanium screw put into her heel to hold it together, and since she flies frequently, she takes it with her to show when she has to go through security.
