He was pro-abortion, pro-gay, anti-2nd amendment, for nationalized healthcare all because of Bush.... I don’t think so. He was a Democrat before Bush2 too.
Yup.
...this is going to burst some bubbles......too bad none of us saw this coming.....oh,wait......
If the housing bubble had burst just one year later, a plausible narrative would be how the economy was fine until Obama screwed everything up.
That makes no sense, since it was actually a year later that he jumped from being a Democrat.
We usually make fun of liberals swooning under the "hope and change" glamour.
Trump is a great performer and opportunist. He has made-for-TV reality show presentations. Many conservatives are willing to overlook everything else for some great antics that are directed at liberals, by a liberal. Of course that is the only way a liberal can win next year.
People shouldn’t forget that Trump was/is also a great fan of Kelo vs. Connecticut where the SP ruled that people’s property could be taken away for private financial gain. He enthusiastically endorsed that. Think about that when you’re forced to move out of your home for one of Trump’s casinos.
Mark my words, Donald Trump WILL screw conservatives hard.
It really disturbs me that Trump was a Democrat, and now it disturbs me severely that he would casually fart out an enormous lie about why he was....
Additionally, he was a Democrat during the worst of the years right after 9/11, when we were at war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Our men and women were dying daily over there and the Democrats were here in Washington doing everything they could to sabotage our winning and smearing our troops as Nazi’s and cold-blooded murderers.
I will never be able to relate to or trust any grown-up American who was a Democrat during those years and didn’t switch to either GOP or another party.
Ever.
Trump is right on.
For all of the good things Bush was about, he was (too) close to the Peoples Republic of China, who he sold out America’s industry to.
Democrats have also, don’t get me wrong. Everyone is selling out America. Except Trump is saying America needs to be for America once again.
That is why Trump is winning. He is saying America.
That is precisely what Americans have been waiting an entire generation, for some American leaders, to say.
So is Jeb any better than Trump, on any issue?/
So, who do you back with support and financial donations? Do you actually back a candidate and FR, or are you something else?
Intel Advocates For More H1B Visas; Lays Off American Workers
The scene is set for a repeat performance.
Trump is a phoney. A New York Democrat. He hurts the cause. Aren’t we tired of this type of duplicity?
Trump is unelectable, but he is providing a good service by poking the establishment in its collective eye, all of which, I believe, will enure to the benefit of Ted Cruz.
Would I vote for Trump in the primary? No. Would I vote for him if he were the GOP nominee in 2016? Yes. Because the alternative (Hildabeast or Bernie “Red” Sanders) is unthinkable.
While we are questioning candidates, does anyone have a problem with Cruz’ wife being a head of Goldman Sachs or being funded by them? They are part of the Crony Communist leadership.
Pray America is waking
When all else fails, blame Bush.
The “economic policies” he’s complaining about were those passed by Democrat legislatures. Bush should have vetoed them - even though they had enough votes to override- but he felt it was the president’s job to respect the legislative will of the people. Unlike the dictator who now squats in the WH.
Well, it was just last Friday, I believe, that he told “Morning Joe” he has a lot of Democrat views. Keep in mind he was a registered Democrat as recently as 2009, and has said that the economy always does better under Democrats.
All of that is pretty incompatible with the next Reagan/Churchill/savior of the nation.
He was a Democrat BEFORE 2008...
