New Poll open to guests..Question: Do you think Trump's remarks concerning McCain's POW status will improve, have no impact, or decrease his polling results?
(Excerpt) Read more at gopbriefingroom.com ...
Looking at that poll now, with more than 1,600 votes, 90 something percent thing that Trump’s position will improve, with the rest saying it will have no effect and 2 percent saying it will decrease.
Something tells me the hysterical people condemning Trump for this have always been hysterical, and were the same people bashing Trump weeks and weeks ago.
There's almost a method to the madness here, because once these bozos step out to attack Trump, it's guaranteed to put them in the sissy wing of the party. By the way, I didn't see the remarks. I will have to look for Walker's statement.
Look up the results now. More than 1,600 votes. Looks like it didn’t hurt Trump at all if that website is representative of Conservatives in general.
I don't care if McCain was the one who planted the flag on Iwo Jima. He is a scumbag and no hero. Only a wuss would apologize to this schmuck.
McCain was a POW, and a guy who kept crashing planes.
McCain has made it a point like Kerry of playing the hero card, while leaving our border open to terrorists.
McCain was one of the Keating five, IMHO he didnt get jail time because people felt he served Jail in Hanoi and that was more than enough
McCain had the dirtiest campaign against JD Hayworth.
Lies, against JD, breaking Reagans 11th commandment every day. A campaign unbecoming and Officer and a Gentleman.
Trump IS changing and listening to vets and learning. Now he’s saying he likes McCain. LoL.
I’m looking at Trump’s twitter and facebook, not seeing anything there but criticism of McCain, Mittens and others. Not sure where you’re getting the idea that Trump is now saying he “likes McCain” now.
I wonder what Trump was really trying to say by that remark. Was he thinking he would’ve preferred that none of our soldiers were captured? It sure came out wrong, didn’t it? He talks so fast sometimes, but, I guess that’s the NY way.
These limp-wristed Republicans running for office don’t seem to understand that McCain is the most hated Senator in the Senate. Boom!! That accounts for Trump’s rise in favor ability.
Lindsey Grahmnesty believes that Trump’s numbers will suffer greatly and is super thankful to his partner, Juan McCain for all he has done for him.
Like Governor Walker?
That's the way I read it too - it's already out that Trump was misquoted just a tad and that McCain is responsible for the deaths of numerous American warriors - the Truth is an amazing thing - one of my favorite quotes on it:
The truth is tough. It will not break, like a bubble, at a touch
you may kick it about all day, like a football, and it will be round and full at evening Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr.
“I learned for the first time...”
I’m with you, Trump is the first Republican to take on McCain and I’ve learned more about McCain in the past day than I learned in the past 20 years...and none of it good.
I originally had a knot in my stomach over Trump’s comments, but have seen on this site, and other sites, just how much Republican ANGER there is at McCain. People also forget that McCain even toyed with running against President Bush in 2004.
Yeah he picked a fight with the most disliked republican. I’m sure it is going to kill him.
So true. Go look at ted Cruz’s facebook page and you’ll see even he pissed his base off by calling McCain a hero.
Cruz is the only one smart enough not to fall for the gop/dnc talking points. His facebook fans followed his lead. It’s a shame his freeper fans haven’t done the same.
Sorry, it is the left that creates these sacred cows that can’t be criticized. Single moms, minorities, gays, war heroes like Kerry and now McCain when it is convenient.
McCain is a backstabbing turd that turned on his own voters, Sarah Palin, all Americans with his votes, and has called people that want to stop illegals crazy. He is not a hero, no matter what he did in the past.
It is not a coincidence that Luntz and Hayes did what they did any more than how Romney got played in the second debate.
Rinos chomping at the bit to be relevant and piling on. It’s sickening.
I saw the video and it’s a nothingburger.
He was also being interrupted constantly by Luntz. I look forward to him badgering Clinton like that. I will be waiting. And waiting. And waiting.
