Perry is the one who acted like an overgrown kid after somebody steals his marbles. Mr. 1% in the polls started off the summit today blasting Trump for a good five minutes. Hero this, hero that, Trump owes McCain and apology and owes all veterans an apology, he’s not qualified to be commander in chief, blah, blah, blah. The old ex democrat went on and on. The only one that came out looking stupid was him. It was just the opening for him to try and get back at Trump for calling him a failed governor on border security, which he was.
Yes Perry looked ridiculous, but he was not alone.

Retired senior NCO here. I thought Trump’s remarks were spot on about McShame. Too too many stories about the songbird in captivity to have any respect for him. Not a better from to POWs was Ross Perot and he can’t stand him.
Perot sent a private airplane to the POWs filled with Christmas presents. McCain hated Perot as much as Perot hated McCain. I always wondered why.
About your post 20, I was thinking, “WHAT! You voted for McCain?” Then I remembered my shame. I voted for him, too. Ugh! I carried that shame until the next general election and when presented with Romeny, I refused. I kept saying about McCain that the only candidate worse was Romney. So the GOP gave me Romney. I will NEVER vote for a McCain again. If they give me a loser I will write in a dream candidate name.
I was no Perot fan either, but that is a classy thing to do.

McCain has called US/WTP ‘crazies’ So I say Thank you, Donald. You might have done so a little more subtly, but thank you for sticking up for us “crazies”. McCain, I’d appreciate it if you would please return my vote cast for you. Just as I was ashamed of the vote cast for Richard Nixon, the shame is 10 times greater for the vote you received. The only reason you won this vote was due to the fact that Sarah was a member of your team. Therefore, it was Sarah who got my vote, not you.
