With the understanding that I will get hammered by the Trump supporters on this page, I have some questions for you about your candidate:
First, WHY do you support Trump? Is it only because he talks tough? Do you have HISTORY to prove he means what he says on this issue?
Second: Other than screaming about illegal immigration (he is right about it), talking about bombing oil fields and that Persians are smooth negotiators, WHAT other issues does he understand? On what other issues is he Conservative?
Third: Who do all of you expect Trump to choose for the SCOTUS?
Fourth: Can you prove Trump is different from his past as a Democrat...can you prove he is Conservative? how? (please don't feed us the BS that Reagan was once a Democrat...Trump isn't Reagan)
Fifth: How do you reconcile his flip-flopping on issues like Immigration, guns, abortion and OBAMACARE and Hillary?
Sixth: Can anyone explain WHY Trump supported Obama in 2012?
Seventh: Why, suddenly, in 2012, did his donations INCREASE to Republicans when he first decided to run as a GOP candidate for POTUS? Why was he a Democrat donor before then? (don't give me the 'Oh, well, he had to do business in NY crap, either...he gave to candidates outside of NY).
Finally, how can you all be certain that Trump isn't a trojan horse? How can recent talking points outweigh his recent history of comments, etc?
If Trump really is who you think he is...prove to us WHY you think this.
What damage is he suffering on the business end? He is 70 years old and wealthy...losing a few contracts won’t hurt him.
Give me a break.
Nope, I guess Cruz hasn’t said these things first....you are right. /sarc
Some of us don’t necessarily support Trump to win, but perhaps support Trump staying in the race long enough to make candidates actually talk about issues that matter.
He hasn’t even dug in on job creation and toxic debt yet...
so by your logic...our choices are only Jeb and Trump? Sorry dude, don’t buy that false choice....using a false choice is proof of a weak argument.
He focused on her actions as being the problem. I’d like to remind you that her action was free speech. The practical good she did was to shine a light on the fact that Islam cannot coexist with freedom. Sad that you and Trump have missed that point.
pithy...not accurate, meaningless, but pithy and brief.
Monica Crowley’s column on Trump explains it all.
If you haven’t read the article I posted above, please take the time to read it, and comment. It is a pretty long read, and was posted on here the other day.
Now that is a good answer...and there is reason to believe he is clearing the path for Cruz...
That being said, I am still waiting on the answer from the ardent Trump supporters...
My feeling is that we will get nothing...they can’t answer, because answering, would destroy any credibility they had left.
They are good questions. And Trump will answer all of them...and many many of those answers are going to embarrass his supporters.
I did read it and I will read it again...
I am also a Cruz guy...but that doesn’t explain HOW Donald will side on the other issues...
Your questions don’t matter though. Trump is a means to an end.
Two main reasons. 1: his conservative instincts are brand new, undeveloped and un reliable. 2: His ego informs him that he and he alone can be brash, audacious and blunt. And I'll add 3 as a bonus: he wants some cover for his own brashness by being "reasonable" about Geller, etc.
LOL.
Maybe he is a means to an end...
But they do matter...this is a Conservative site. I would like those who support Trump to tell me WHY he is our best option.
Trump loves America, he’s been successful, not beholden to lobbyists, wants America to be all it can be, little doubt that he would surround himself with America’s best. If Cruz or Walker don’t get the nomination Trump would be a good alternative.
Trump is for repealing and replacing Obamacare with a system that allows policies to be purchased across state line, much the same as Cruz.
I get it...Trump can be brash and blunt, but not Geller. Not anyone else, just Trump. Dude, go get some stain stick for the ugly kool aid all over your skirt.

I know this doesn't sound very Conservative. We gotta take care of everybody, not just the people up here. We gotta take care of everybody. Okay! Get used to it, Conservatives. I love you, Conservatives. Get used to it. Let's take care of everybody, please. And by the way Obamacare doesn't!
RE: Flipflopping
McConnell and Boehner both got reelected on promises to stop Obama. THEY BOTH LIED. They were even negotiating with Obama on amnesty, etc., before the election. They can’t fold fast enough by giving up their Constitutional power to allow Obama to have his own way.
Other candidates run as conservatives and change as soon as they cross the Potomac.

Many of your questions are valid, but not just regarding Trump. They should be asked regarding all candidates.
Bottom line: who do you trust most? least?
And that puts the question in the realm of the lesser-of-two-evils. The cycle of politics repeats itself.
