Rick Harrison of ‘Pawn Stars’: My vote is going to Marco Rubio

Now that there are more than a dozen hats in the ring on the Republican side of the election and several lining up on the other side, I have chosen my favorite: Marco Rubio.

I learned a long time ago that you don’t need to agree with a candidate 100 percent of the time, but if you find one you agree with most of the time who speaks well, has knowledge and is for business, genuine and electable, you may have found just the person you’d like to see run the USA and take us to a better place.

That guy is Marco Rubio for me. He is my guy, and I hope to see him get the Republican nod and make it past Hillary Clinton or whoever is on the other side and invite me to stay in Lincoln’s bedroom. For a history nut like me, how awesome would that be?

So-called "celebrities" are hilarious...and extremely credible, especially those that have a reality show on a cable network.

Perhaps you and Mama June can get together and choose a VP to run with Rubio.

I suggest Kim Kardashian.

I don’t have to agree with a candidate 100% to support him, but there cannot be fatal flaws. Marco Rubio is like this (mostly excellent) chocolate chip cookie recipe:

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup horse manure

I’m okay with a recipe that uses a different ratio of white to brown sugar. I’m okay with substituting oil or even applesauce for some of the butter. I’m even okay with imitation vanilla instead of the real thing. Barely.

The last ingredient is a deal breaker. Even if the cook promises to make the recipe with only half the usual amount or to make mine before stirring in that last ingredient, I’m not buying his cookies or anything else from his kitchen - EVER.

Rubio supports Amnesty, which is as unwelcome as stirring horse manure into my cookie dough. Rewarding criminals who entered our country illegally is, just like keeping Obamacare or infringing on our rights to keep and bear arms, a fatal flaw. If it comes down to Rubio or Hillary, I’ll vote third party and hope that Congress can reduce the damage from an unavoidably terrible White House.

Amen. I could barely tolerate him and his fat @ss pal Chum when I watched.
If brains were TNT, the two of them couldn't blow a hole in a wet tissue.

Rick is one of those parents who thinks he’s being a real cool guy as a dad but he couldn’t be more wrong. Unless it’s all just them making it look ‘good’ for the cameras...However, I don’t believe that is the case. And why doesn’t a big handsome fellow like “Big Hoss” seem to have a girlfriend?

I used to watch Paen Sates all the time. When they made it less about the cool stuff they get in it became nearly unwatchable sometimes as most of a episode was about someone’s personal live, etc.

I used to watch it every week, but stopped sometime last year. It got boring after awhile. I'd like to know what the old man thinks about Rick's choice. I always liked him the best anyway.

Well there you go, Marco endorsed by a guy who shills old style shaving razors and employs morons. I'll definitely not be influenced by him. Maybe he thinks if more illegals get amnesty his business will increase.

He might as well stick around the shop on primary day because Rubio won’t even be in the race by the time NV votes. Maybe he can call “a buddy who’s an expert” to tell him why he won’t get the chance to vote for Marco...
