Orthodox Jewish Man Beaten In Williamsburg In Latest Possible Hate Crime

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The NYPD is investigating another possible hate crime in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. There have been four attacks against the Orthodox Jewish community in a week — the most recent came late Monday night. As CBS2’s Ilana Gold reported, a 65-year-old man was attacked around 11 p.m. across the street from his home near Wilson Street and Wythe Avenue. A teenage boy and girl ran up to him from behind and started punching him in the face and laughing about it, investigators said...The neighbor said his son heard the victim screaming for help and then the son ran outside and helped stop the beating. The two young perpetrators fled, the neighbor said.

Well, the video at the article's link showed a young white guy as the perp of this latest incident involving a 65-year-old man. Where did you see a pic of a white guy as perp of an earlier incident? Likely the same cowardly POS though.

Without seeing the pic, and without mention of race in the article itself (usually a dead giveaway that the perp is *not* white), we should hardly be expected to assume the perp was anything other than...er, Amish. That plus the fact that the knockout game has been "played" in and around that area in the past, with Jews being the targets in at least one or two episodes, there and in other parts of Brooklyn.

This is the photo shown relating to the PREVIOUS incident, on the 25yo Jew.

They keep saying “lone suspect” - i.e., it’s tied to the 25yo victim. Both in print and on the broadcast.

Not very well formatted, but that’s what it was.

Also, the article stated “in the attack with the glass bottle” - which is the attack on 25yo. And the flier text also reads for this one, “glass bottle”. That is for the young 25yo who was attacked.

The 65 yo was sucker-attacked by 2, not a “lone” suspect. No bottle involved.
