Warrants for first degree murder have been issued for two teenagers and a 12-year-old boy for the June shooting death of Jamymell Ray, 31. Two of the teenagers have been taken into custody, but a 12-year-old boy still remains wanted.
The 12-year-old has been identified as Jarrell Milton. Anyone who knows his whereabouts is asked to call the Omaha Police Homicide Unit at (402) 444-5656 or Omaha Crime Stoppers at (402) 444-STOP.
The shooting happened on Monday, June 29th near 24th & Redick. Ray and Charles Fisher, 30, were both hit by gunfire. Fisher was treated at the hospital and later released.
Three suspects are wanted for first degree murder. They are ages 12, 15 and 17. The two teenagers have been arrested and investigators are still trying to locate the youngest suspect.
Shuntayvious Primes-WillisJamar Milton is 17 years old. Shuntayvious Primes-Willis is 15. Both have been booked for murder. Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine said all three suspects had weapons.
"It's incomprehensible. It's unbelievable when you think of somebody who's 12 years old, seventh grade or sixth grade, and being charged with murder for having a gun-- approaching somebody and using that firearm with two other people that also had firearms," Kleine said. "All of it's even impossible to imagine that it's even a possibility."
A victim's family members said Fisher and Ray were driving through Miller Park, eluding gunfire, and drove through a fence to get onto a golf course. The two had already been shot, and Ray died at the hospital. Prosecutors believe the shooting was a set up.
"[It was] A situation where they made a phone call to have this person come to the park for maybe a possible potential drug deal and did what they did," Kleine said.
Prosecutors are sure the suspects have gang ties. They're young, but they're accused of committing serious crimes.
"Our intentions are to file on them as adults," Kleine said. "There's a question in regards to the 12-year-old under the new law, whether we can proceed in adult court, so we'll get him into custody and then make that determination."
The deadly shooting is still under investigation and prosecutors say more charges could be on the way.
The older suspects, Jamar Milton and Shuntayvious Primes-Willis, are due in court to face murder charges Tuesday.

WOWT 6 News has learned that Jarrell’s mother, Iyanna Moss, was convicted for felony assault when Jarrell was just a toddler. According to court documents, at the time, Moss had seven minor children. While she was in prison, all of her children lived in an Omaha foster home. The children’s father, Javaris Milton, lived in Minnesota.

Re 12 year old killer Jarrell Milton. Could have had a stage name of “Little Milton” (a great doo-whop singer/blues singer).
