Trump Proud To Be Fighting For A Secure Border

Saturday, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump US Senator Marco Rubio and former Gov. Jeb Bush for their attacks on his statements about illegal immigration charging that both Florida politicians are soft on the issue.

“I am very proud to be fighting for a strong and secure border,” he said. “This is a very important issue, which all the other candidates would have ignored had I not started this important discussion.

“I will fix the border. No one else knows where to begin,” Mr. Trump said.

In New Hampshire, Mr. Bush said that he was “absolutely” offended personally by Mr. Trump’s comments in his 16 June campaign announcement. Mr. Bush’s wife, Columba, is from Mexico.

Cruz wants to import 350,000 foreign tech workers. That’s hardly a secure the border position as it displaces American workers for cheaper foreign workers. What’s the difference between that and amnesty for illegal aliens?

If I have to spell it out because

1: Cruz isn’t a liar. He does not say one thing and counter it 2 days later with some nebulous ‘if the work hard’ liberal excuse.

2: Cruz is not a fraud. He has been in one belief system all his life...conservatism...and does not stick a finger in the wind.

3: Cruz is more solid on both social and economic issues than any member of any party including indys.

4: Cruz does not back the gay agenda as a whole or ANY of it’s parts.

5: Cruz is rock solid on issues of faith/freedom. Trump is not.

6: Cruz does not stand to lose entire companies by signing bills that could negatively impact his holdings. Thus he is unconflicted. See Repatriating US labor.

We can start there.

‘Illegals bad but Illegals OK if they work hard?

Very confusing...on the other hand, very clear...this administration refuses to enforce Constitutional Law...they prefer Social Justice.

Trump, Cruz, Fiorina keep rustling the other candidates feathers with the Truth hence the criticisms showing a miasma of hypocrisy or is it cowardice.......?

No, RINOs just want America destroyed as much as the dems since they ARE dems. Pretty simple actually. People just refuse to accept the evidence flooding them.

In order to turn this country around (not just manage the decline), we have to hit on all full cylinders in every aspect of economy. We will need a highly-skilled workforce to expedite our recovery. As we know, the free public education of this country is horrible. What does it produce? Fewer and fewer qualified students for colleges to become highly-skilled graduates (science, technology, engineering and math). It will take a generation or so to produce highly-skilled graduates of our own to participate in our economic recovery. Meanwhile, we have to borrow some of those from other countries.

Are you preparing for the ever-worsening skills gap?

You are so intellectually uncurious

Unlike the open-minded posters who automatically dismiss Donald Trump as soon as they hear his name?

Right. Got it.

"We will need a highly-skilled workforce to expedite our recovery."

It is a liberal talking point to claim Americans are incapable of handling technology like dirt-world foreigners from India and other places.

Stop insulting Americans.

Actually some people did their homework on your reality TV star and aren’t starry eyed about his presence. The man has a history. Read it.

There’s truth to it. Talk to some HR departments about the idiots they have to trawl through to find a decent applicant.

There are articles regularly on FR on that very subject and the only time anyone doesn’t nod their head in agreement is when their personal cow isn’t sacred anymore.

The American workforce still has a lot of qualified and good people unemployed. They should have any job before a H1B. But until a LOT of things get changed in labor law, that won’t happen.

More than a few are attempting to hitch their wagons to Trump.

For the first time in years I drove through College Park, MD the other day.

The place looks like a Third World hellhole. Completely overrun with illegals.

CodeToad, we had a conversation about this issue before and you twisted what I said again. Americans are fine or even more preferred to be hired here. But we don't have enough highly-skilled graduates until we properly educate them.

Well I would say Trump’s position on increasing American employment takes precedence over all of yours.

But your opinion obviously differs.

I think Donald and Ted have more in common with each other, than they have different.

I think Donald and Ted have more different, and the same, with a number of the other candidates.

All I am saying is, I don’t believe it does any of us any good, for you guys to always be jumping onto Trump threads, doing nothing but criticising the guy.

He’s got more b_lls than the entire rest of the field, in both parties.

Bar none.

I will not bother to vote for any pansy who doesn’t have a clear plan on the border, and who does not speak the truth.

Liar. That's a bunch of nonsense designed to denigrate Americans so you can lobby to bring in foreign workers.
