Trump has already said his 1st choice for his VP is “Oprah Winfrey!” The woman who used her show to launch Obama’s presidential campaign and was part of Jeremiah Wright's anti-White & anti-American church long before and after Obama.

Why would any FReeper want a man who thinks so much of Oprah to be the President OR EVEN one heart beat away from the Presidency?

Trump doesn’t are about Oprah...he’ll just say anything he thinks will give him a boost. If being a liberal Republican doesn’t work how about a fire-breathing mexican-baiting internationalist-hating right wing Republican? Seems to be working so far but I don’t remember where he stood at this point in the last campaign when he was the liberal Republican.

"It JUST happened. Jeez!"

How much time is needed to report more than "Ted Cruz stands up for Donald Trump 100%?"

Could we not be told what he supported Trump on? Immigration? Mexico? Trade? Iran? China?..........

Cruz really is a smart guy and not just a rich guy who thinks he’s smart.

I don't know about that.

Has anyone succeeded in demonstrating that any of the accusations Trump has made are actually not true? If so, they're keeping it a secret, so far. Which is extremely unlikely.

The thing that impresses me is that Trump has taken the time to get his facts straight, and has landed a series of shattering blows on the opposition. If they could have rebutted them, they would have by now.

Trump has also put his money where his mouth is. He's complicated his business dealings, which has cost him time if not also money, and time is money for him.

If they can't get him on facts, the Left is going to go after him on one or more morals issues. They're going to try and find a scandal to hang on him, the way they did with Herman Cain. I'm certain that many people on the left have been tasked to come up with very bad dirt on Trump, and are burning the midnight oil to accomplish this. That they haven't so far is telling.

But to have command of such a wide array of facts, and to use that information so effectively, demonstrates a lot of intelligence as well as courage. Which by the way is what you expect in a successful entrepreneur. Steve Jobs got it right on the micro level, the macro level, and the mega level, all at the same time.

I think he has managed to land a series of shattering blows against himself. A smart guy could have made the same points without losing so much. He looks like an idiot in my opinion. He needs a campaign manager or something but I doubt anyone can help him.

If so, I haven't seen the evidence of it yet.

A smart guy could have made the same points without losing so much.

Maybe he realizes that if America's Constitutional freedoms are sent into the memory hole, as the Obama Fundamental Change administration clearly is trying to do, his investments will lose a lot of value.

He looks like an idiot in my opinion.

Mm kay.

I like this. Cruz has all the right ideas. Trumps big mouth tells it like it is.

It feels good someone is actually saying what I believe the majority of Americans actually think and actually want to vote.

There are many Trump dislikers here in Freeper Land. But someone has stated several times that Reagan was a democrat before turning and that he had a few failures in his career. Also, John Wayne was a communist at one time. Point is, if Trump’s action deliver what his mouth says, that’s great.

The same should be considered by those trashing Fiorina’s history with HP.

Somewhere along the way conservatives need to forget things they dislike about a candidate and come together and vote for one candidate. The dems do it all the time, their unity is what their success is based on.

Yes....I believe that is the link to the excellent interview with Sen Cruz...where he explains exactly what there is to like about Donald Trump's comments on Mexico and Mexican illegal immigrants.

That’s it.

Had a section from before where I started watching.

That is exactly it. Thanks.

Well they better not come together on Trump or they'll lose big time. In the meantime he can keep making speeches and run for something less than President for his first office and we'll see if he's sincere or just a joker. I believe he's a demagogue who doesn't care about anything but himself.

If he’s a joke, then why bother stopping by all of the Trump threads? We get it...you don’t like Trump. Why not move on?

Trump/Cruz a terrific team.

Absolutely. Two bright, accomplished guys who are willing to tell it like it is, with different fields of accomplishment. Yesterday, I would've said it's crazy, today I like it.

Trump can learn about the inner workings of DC and the Judiciary aspects form Cruz. Cruz can learn about the art of the deal from Trump. (no more bad ideas like working with Obama on trade)

I could be wrong, but I think Trump was just being “tongue in cheek” on the Oprah thing. I didn’t take his comment seriously.

it distracts from hillary's problems.

No, it doesn't. If anything it makes her irrelevant to what's going on.

I am continuing to study Trump. His brashness actually appeals to me. I like people who aren’t afraid to say what they think on issues, unfiltered. It also doesn’t hurt that he seems to have improved the hair.:)

I think they just placed an order for Maalox in 55 gallon drums down at GOP Headquarters.
