Oxford English Dictionary makes ‘Masshole’ official

The Oxford English Dictionary added the word Masshole to its roster on Wednesday, formalizing a term well known to frustrated drivers throughout the Northeast.

A piece of “coarse slang” defined as “a term of contempt for a native or inhabitant of the state of Massachusetts,” Masshole was one of nearly 500 words added to the dictionary on Wednesday, along with twerk, sext, hyperlocal, freegan, fratty, and fo’ shizzle.

When I lived in rural NM, I once saw two girls walk into the diner I was eating at. One was sneering; the other looked like she expected to be violated and murdered (possibly in that order). I knew at that moment exactly where they were from, and sure enough, when I went out to the parking lot...a car with Massholechusetts license plates.

The traffic around Boston is brutal and the drivers are the worst in the world! Just in the past week I had to lay on my horn at the car behind me in two separate occasions as they were getting ready to pass me on the left just as the lane was merging ahead. If you are going at any speed resembling the speed limit drivers behind you get very bent out of shape. Massholes!

I unfortunately live in MA.
A Masshole is typically some MA lib that leaves and moves to New Hampshire because of high taxes and regulation then immediately demands the same in their new state.

I often visit NH and feel embarrassed driving my car with it’s MA plates on.

‘Massh*le’ has been part of my vocabulary since my first encounter with them in 1982...quite possibly the worst people to be found anywhere in the United States of America. (They absolutely ruined my wife’s home town in soviet Red Hampshire.) Thank you, Oxford!

The dictionary is way behind the times. I distinctly remember it was 8 years ago that I last heard a middle school kid say “fo’ shizzle” because everyone looked at her because it was soooo last week.

Keep in mind that the two blows struck against America by the corrupt ‘Supreme’ Court this past week (ObamaCare and sodomite ‘marriage’)BOTH had their origins in soviet Red England. I’d call for a boycott of Red England, but you never see southern or western license plates ‘round these parts...those good Americans already knew better than to fraternize with the commies ‘up north’.
