Judd Apatow continues to throw shade, shade, shade at Bill Cosby, months after the media firestorm over his rape allegations has subsided.
Cosby, 77, is accused of sexually assaulting at least 40 women since the '60s. He has denied the allegations, which resurfaced last October, and has never been charged with a crime over them. He has meanwhile continued performing standup comedy. However, his onscreen career has stalled. The controversy had drawn a slew of mocking tweets and the star that appears to be the least relentless is Apatow, 47, who has often slammed him online.
"I can't believe we haven't talked about Cosby yet!" director of the new movie Trainwreck and other comedy films, who last year returned to perform standup comedy regularly, said at a public event at the 92nd Street Y in New York City on Tuesday.
"You know what Cosby's doing right now?" Apatow told This American Life host and interviewer Ira Glass. "He's on the road. You know why he's on the road doing standup so much? He's on the road because he doesn't wanna go home to his wife and explain what happened."
"And his wife's like, 'When are you coming home?' and he's like [imitates Cosby], 'I'd like to come home but I am performing at the Cracker Barrel in Wazoo, Michigan and then when I get home I will tell you what happened with the raping and the drugging and the women. But first I am at a Panera Bread in West Covina,'" Apatow said.
Cosby has not responded to Apatow's remarks, which the director, who is also promoting his new book, Sick in the Head: Conversations About Life and Comedy, echoed on Late Night With Seth Meyers on Tuesday.
Many have criticized Apatow for his frequent anti-Cosby tweets. In December Kenya Barris, creator of ABC comedy Black-ish, told him on Twitter, "Not defending him AT ALL, but u do realize this borders on strangely obsessive, right?"
"People have been asking me about it today, in all the interviews...'What's with Cosby? Why does it bother you?'" Apatow said at the 92nd Street Y. "I'm like, 'We're not supposed to be bothered by, like, the serial rapist people? Like, isn't that the main thing that we should be annoyed about?' We're all worried about the murderers—we can't find these murderers that got out of jail, but we are cool with rapey guy?"
He also told Seth Meyers, "Some people say, 'Why do you talk about it?' which is kinda like saying, like, 'Leave the rapist alone.' Aren't we supposed to say, 'We don't like this'?"

Never heard of Judd ‘till now.
Letting Bill Cosby have it for past misdeeds is all well and good.
But what about all the women and girls today getting raped and murdered and kidnapped and bought and sold and essentially made into slaves by muslims? It’s happening all the time and many places around the world.
Living in Cosby’s past only gives muslims more room to do whatever they want today. What about these girls and women?

Cosby’s wife seems to have known all along about Bill, and his perversions.
Bill even gave his bedroom home phone number to one of his victims, where his wife answered the phone, the wife doesn’t seem to have any problems with him, including his becoming Hefner’s best friend, and being a regular at the mansion.
