Purely local news, but intended as a test for those not familiar with Dallas. The station in question is the station between downtown Dallas and the Dallas Zoo. Based upon the excerpt, who can describe the neighborhood surrounding the 8th and Corinth Station?

There is a plague of homeless, mentally ill, gang bangers at almost all the stations. I have been chased, hit, had bottles thrown at me just to get a cigarette. Every 7/11, Racetrac and QT along the way is filled with camping bums. We are talking LOTS and very aggressive.

Not really a bad area it's just that the trains allow crime to roam around the city.
Maybe 5% of those who use the train actually "need" it.
