They sure look like trouble-making people who go about daily causing problems for others.

Just goes to show what happens to people who go into the shady business of bedding.....

Dear gamecock,

Never underestimate the possibility that these poor
murdered souls may have never been told about
limpwristing. It is something that every semi-autowner needs
to know about

You can have ammo that makes the semi cycle,
you can know about tap rack boom,
you can own any semi,
yet limpwristing is THE gift from Murphy that one
must overcome, or one might meet the same fate.

Good advice.
Not a bad idea to practice shooting with your `weak’ hand too.
Draw and dry fire with snap-caps if you can’t get to the range.

This is racist!

The police did not arrest one single White, Hispanic, Asian, Pacific Islander or American Indian for these crimes.

I’ll bet they didn’t even INVESTIGATE any White, Hispanic, Asian, Pacific Islander or American Indian people...

He limp-wristed it, apparently no time to whack and rack (or, as noted above, he didn’t spend enough time on the muscle memory). Too bad for the vics, hopefully the perp burns.

With over 50 years of pistol handling experience, I always recommend amateurs purchase a wheel gun for self defense.

Simple - no fuss, handy tool.

Agree with your assumptions.

Prior to the TBA that claimed all of my firearms in early November of 2008, I used to keep a half-dozen or so revolvers around the house in addition to the semi-auto pistols and shotguns.

They are extremely reliable, and when chambered for .357 magnum they pack quite a wallop.

In my experience, if one doesn’t hold the semi-auto firmly, stovepipes are more likely to happen.

Hate crime!

Oh wait...

Wonder if soetoro will mention these 2 "Crackers" like he talked about trayvon and brown?

I think not.

One of the tragic parts of this whole episode is that “Rahkeem McDonald” was in the process of turning his life around.

He was negotiating a deal with a certain fast food chain to become the new mascot at all their inner-city restaurants.

Nine times out of ten, good ammo will fix stove piping. You can also fix it with a spring kit.

Many semi-autos are sprung too hard these days to make up for +P ammo. In my opinion, it’s better to wear out the gun than have it not work. Cheap ammo is fine for the range, but you should always have premium rounds when carried or stored.

Agree with your assumptions.

I don't have fifty years experience, but with the experience I do have I believe limp-wristing is EXTREMELY over sold for ejection failures.

Of greater import, in my experience, is a top quality firearm along with ammunition that has a minimum of 250 rounds of that specific ammunition run through it with zero failures.

"Limp-wristing" is what "single-pistol-owners" invariably blame before they admit their one gun kinda sucks.

A decent tilt-barrel action should be impervious to LW-ing, anyway. It really only affects unlocked blowback actions such as with a .380 or any of the Hi-Point models.

Just asking, how does the grip you hold on the weapon have any affect on a stove pipe jam?

My Sigs never stove pipe for me. Never, not one.

When my 16-year-old daughter shot it, she got one after another.

It was clearly limp-wristing.

I’ve also had stovepipes on a .45 and .22 that had nothing to do with limp-wristing.

We’ll never know why this guy got a stove pipe, he may have already been shot and barely able to hold the gun.

A semi-auto requires resistance for the slide to move, otherwise the entire gun moves. On rifles, the mass of the gun compared to the bolt is generally enough, but with a pistol the lower must be held in place while the slide cycles.

Guess that locks it up. I've never had the problem myself, so I don't know other than what I've heard along the grapevine. I can understand why limp wristing an unlocked blowback could cause a failure to properly eject, but i don't know how that would work with a tilt barrel design. Not denying it mind you, I just don't know how it works.
