Yum Brands operates three fast-food restaurant giants: KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. Of those, only Pizza Hut has a well-established delivery business. Taco Bell and KFC could soon be next. Yum ( YUM ) Chief Executive Greg Creed told analysts on Wednesday that there is potential for food delivery across all three of its chains, saying Taco Bell delivery in particular could be a massive sales driver for the brand. What we want to do is get into a test, probably a couple of stores near a couple of college campuses, Creed said. At-home delivery makes up a tiny sliver of the food-service industrys sales. But the market is alluring, as more consumers, particularly Millennials, use their mobile devices to place orders. Rapid demand for restaurant orders, enabled by e-commerce sites such as Seamless, has driven interest by larger chains to tinker with ways to deliver easily to consumers homes. But dont expect Taco Bell to be delivered every day, all day. Yum says it wouldnt deliver Taco Bell during lunch hours. It also seems more likely that deliveries would occur on weekend nights, rather than during the week.

LOL.
Great!
The prices GO UP!
Good, that way I can be sitting on the toilet the same time I eat the Taco Bell food. Avoiding the need to run to one 2 minutes later.
KFC needs to return to it’s roots. Start callingitself Kentucky Fried Chicken again, and start focusing on product quality.
I always liked the flavor of Kentucky Fried Chicken, and back in the day it was good chicken too. Then they went into wraps and more sides and so-forth.
Buy the best chickens, cook them properly, get the order correct, and quality and value for the price.
10 bucks at KFC for a few pieces of chicken and a couple sides.. no wonder nobody is in there
Runs for the border.
Flush twice - it's a long way to El Paso.
(Old Albuquerque joke.)
Yeppers.
This is why McDonalds is in trouble. They branched out to so many different foods and choices, and they lost control of their quality, they don’t even appeal to kids anymore.
I finally ate at an In N Out burger last week. It was OK, certainly not a Whataburger, but I was impressed at their menu options. Or rather the lack thereof.
Stick with what works, and improve on that. Can’t go wrong.
When I hear “KFC”, the first thing that comes to mind is intestinal distress
I think they already have.
Pizza Hut has ruined pizza delivery in Houston. When you call, the answerer may be anywhere - and it’s not the restaurant you’re calling. Service is sullen, poor and slow.
Pizza Inn now gets 100% of my business. It’s the LOCAL store who answers, they know my address (caller ID), service is polite and fast.
Driving me away from a restaurant I’ve patronized for 50 years to a competitor with an inferior product takes some effort.
Bad idea for Taco Bell but maybe not KFC. Go to Taco Bell and pick up 6 regular crispy tacos and drive them 2-4 miles home. You’ll be lucky if they are still “crisp”.
“I always liked the flavor of Kentucky Fried Chicken, and back in the day it was good chicken too.”
At the beginning I believe they also had ribs.
Yeah...and I’ll bet they’ll take EBT cards too....
No problem, they will just deliver the tacos on the exhaust manifold.
Hey as long as my meximelt and nachos be grandes dont make a break for the border, I’m ok.
It goes from hot and juicy to cold and rubbery in under an hour.
LOL! The stoners won’t even have to leave their pad! Pizza does get old, even for a stoner with the munchies.
