No, the problem is that whatever gets substituted is not okay either. At this point, we hardly have any trams fats in food anymore. It doesn’t say much to say that they are banned.

Agreed. Remember some years ago when a substance called Olean was introduced to replace fat in snack food. I had some potato chips made with Olean. Made me violently ill.

These days I don't buy any fat-free or reduced fat products. I just eat less of the full-fat versions.
