Officials rescued three abused pit bulls in the middle of an illegal dog fight this weekend taking place in a car wash in Paterson, New Jersey.
One of the dogs, which was found bleeding and severely injured, has been given a 50/50 chance of living after being whisked away from the fighting pen on Friday.

They caught a sick f**k in town here a while back doing what amounts to torture (IMO) of Pits to make them fight dogs.
I wish the cops had given me a two hour head start. I would have taken a baseball bat to the SOB, made him easier to arrest. Anything else I’d like to say about it would get me banned here.
I hope no one takes offense, but I really detest people sometimes. This is one of those times.
At least they didn’t try to eat the face off of a compliant suspect, while he was surrendering.
Four men? Put them all in a small, brightly lit room, give each one a knife and promise the survivor he will be put to sleep.
Because in spite of his pain and misery, he was wagging it at whomever took the photo.

This is why Pits get the bad rap, because of what a few disgusting wastes of life do to animals that only want love and affection from man. Having read the prior comments posted here all I can say is...........why let the vermin off so easy?

I have a pit bull in my pack of 7 pound puppies, they range from Black Lab and English Mastiff to Boxer and Boarder collie. Billy The Fearless Bear Hunter (the pit bull) is one of the gentlest dogs I have ever had in my family.
Yes; he does hunt the bears, he is just smart enough not to catch them. Also thinks he is a lap dog.
I have two of yours in one, English Mastiff + Black Lab = Mastador. We go to the dog park often and interact with LOTS of Pits and in six years there have only been a handful of fights that were anywhere near serious and of those only a couple involved Pits brought by cholos who mistreated them. I have not met a Pit that has been anything but sweet, I know they are out there because of man, but hey my grandson sleeps with one and God help the person that tries to hurt him.
I’ve seen that sort of face before. Next comes the slobber...buckets and buckets of slobber. Applied with all due vigor, of course.
