The Baltimore woman who took action when she saw her son hanging out with violent demonstrators Monday, is now facing charges for her brutal treatment of her son.
The woman identified as the boy's mother, was watching television when she saw her son throwing rocks at police.
She went to find him in the crowd and the confrontation turned physical. The woman was caught on camera grabbing the boy and smacking him in the face.
"Are you kidding me?" she's heard saying. The station did not identify her by name.
Apparently authorities in Baltimore are not kidding, as a warrant has been issued for her arrest, with authorities asking that she turn herself in rather than fan the flames of further child brutality.
A spokeswoman for the Baltimore police stated:
We cant have just anyone running around smacking these kids upside the head; thats our job.
CPS services was stunned after seeing the video:
Really? Had that child done anything yet? Just because he had a mask on? Are we going to conclude he was up to no good? This mothers actions were outrageous. We are indeed taking this very series lee. This is hugh
LOL, I see what you did there.
I'm stuned that you asked that question. You may find out more by reading the thread at the link below:

Otherwise, you may have to find the FReeper who originally posted it and ask him yourself. Try a nearby mirror. ;^)
This may be satire but don’t be surprised that once this cools down people will be calling it child abuse.
Had it been a white woman smacking her child across the head- child protective services would have swooped In and ushered the kid to another country for ‘safety sake’ and police would have the woman in prison without bail awaiting a trial that includes the death penalty
But since it was a black woman, no harm no foul
This story is HUGH and Series!
When I was a kid, all my Grandmother had to do was say, “I’m goin’ out to cut a switch”.
We were never hit with a switch; and I don’t think she ever even cut one. Just the threat was enough - backed-up by the great love and respect that we had for her, which had been instilled by her goodness, love, and moral training. It was horrible to offend her, and when we were bad, and she said the ‘switch’ word, we instantly became GOOD.
(Sometimes, when we were REALLY bad, she’d start singing hymns; boy, did THAT get us to feeling guilty :-)
That’s how it works, when you raise a kid with love and distinct, clear-cut rules, from the get-go.
(Of course, now and then my brother got the threat of the strap from our Dad; and I remember once when he actually got it; but he was a boy, and ‘bad-er’ than I was :-)
God bless this good woman, just trying to keep her son out of trouble. (And, if you notice, he didn’t resist! That’s Motherhood - and even a single woman can pull it off, if she actually tries!)

Rest assured I too am stuned! To the max like 11 or 13!
