More than 48 days ago, the Senate Judiciary Committee voted to confirm Lynch as the top law enforcement official in the nation. And yet, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., still refuses to schedule a vote. At a time when key issues important to the American people like protection of voting rights, law enforcement accountability/reform and oversight of numerous areas demand leadership, McConnell and many in his party are stalling.

We were promised a post racial society, and what we got was a government that seems only concerned with representing the needs and rights of the 13%.
How ‘bout nominating someone who is truly colorblind? If you look at Lynch’s background, she ain’t it. Perhaps that’s the reason for the foot dragging?
Naw, it’s easier to play the race card instead...

After six years of watching Eric Holder make a mockery of his Constitutional duties, it is certainly high time that Republicans moved slowly in confirming a successor who appears to suffer from the same moral deficits. Of course, Al Sharpton would not see indifference to the limitations on legitimate Federal Power as a deficit.

Just agree with the people who brought you 6 years of recession and racial strife not seen since 1865, and all will be well.

It wonders me why McC is balking at this one thing, a very small thing in comparison with his aggressive co-operation with the Sultan on funding everything Hussein could possibly want and his cooperation ̣with CorkerĐ on granting nuclear arms to Iran. There is something else going on here. Somehow the nation is going to come out of it holding a very bad bag. I don't want her to be confirmed but I am deeply suspicious of McC's apparent inconsistency.
