I usually would not inquire on the whereabouts of another Freeper, but it seems a little odd to come to FR during Holy Week, and not see anything from Morgana. Anyone heard from her?
Aye. I am an infrequent poster but usually skim at lunch. I miss Many of the old time FReepers. Somehow, I survived the Rudy purge.

That’s a lot of money lost.
The rudy purge saw a lot leave. Some were zotted, many others left in response including my mentor, King Prout. It was one of the darker episodes in FR history and in the view of many, including myself, uncalled for. As always this is a private website and we all post at the pleasure of its owners. If we don’t like it we can leave.
Others got bored over time, got tired of the free for all, got insulted one too many times, found places they liked more. I leave periodically but so far have come back.
I especially miss “Deep in the Hurtgen Forest” Freeper!

Because FR has become a hate filled site where anyone with a slightly different view of the world is pilloried. No one is here for discussion any more. Many come to make themselves feel better by being bullies.
And losing many of those folks results in a decline in the stories that are posted. Nowadays you have to flip through anti catholic BS, Civil War redux, and a whole list of other crap before you can find a decent story that cannot be found anywhere else.
It is tiring wading through the mud. The moderators should tighten up on the garbage. But if you up against some of their favorites, you get whacked.
I hope she comes back soon. She posts very important articles.
