The man accused by New Orleans police of murdering Domino's delivery driver Michael Price late last month has a history of armed robbery and weapons charges in Houston and New Orleans.
Michael Portis, 24, is facing a possible first-degree murder charge after his arrest Wednesday morning (April 1) in the 4900 block of Pauger Street. His arrest came a little more than a week after police found Price's bullet-riddled body inside his car shortly before 1 a.m. on March 24 in the 6100 block of North Roman Street in the city's Lower 9th Ward.
Details of Portis' arrest and alleged involvement in Price's murder are expected to come at an 11 a.m. press conference at NOPD headquarters.

Oh, never mind.
Yet another black-on-white murder. Federal stats collated from local law enforcement data show this number to be about 400 a year. I wonder if this is an undercount. How do they factor in localities that don’t track homicides by race?
Just how much $ could a Pizza delivery driver have in his vehical? I ask because I don’t know.
Ooooooh! Looks like a nice aim point right between his eyes!
20 bucks I think.
I think some pizza places have limits on how much a driver can have on him. The local shop near me allows its drivers $20.
They carry about $20 here.
Probably not. The implication is that the murderer had a scoped rifle. This, and the fact that he shot his victim multiple times indicates that this was a hate murder, not just an armed robbery.
Fortunately, Louisiana does have a death penalty and governor Jindal does not seem averse to it.
I didn’t need a picture. Only one group of reptile brains orders pizza and kills the driver.
Such comments are removed not because the mods are pc liberals but because they are against FR rules, and so no liberals take it out of context and try to say this is what everyone on FR thinks.
Every time I read a story about a pizza delivery person being shot and killed, it's almost always a white delivery person and a black killer.
“... a history of armed robbery and weapons charges...”
He’s 24 years old. How much of a “history” can he have and not still be in jail on the original charges?
That’s because white people will actually work when they’re offered a job delivering pizzas.

Back to jail for more tattoos.
How many black pizza delivery people have you met? For me, none.
My part of the country has a very small black population (1%). And the wife and I practically never have any pizzas delivered.
