...”in an improving economy” (BS FLAG GOES HERE!) ...
why do AP and NYT articles so often lead with obvious propaganda ? in the old days they had the decency to wait until the second or third paragraph before inserting their lies

Great. So we’ll be paying even more for low-quality, barely digestible food, slung through with the worst customer service known to man? Got it.

McDonalds “food” prices are already higher than that of their competitors.. The “quality” is lower. This is reflected in their poor sales numbers lately.
This won’t help them. It will likely hurt them when they bump menu prices again.

Good. More costs to add to their disappearing bottom line. Would you like plastic with your fries?

If the economy were really improving they wouldn’t have to work at McDonald’s.

Just like Walmart, they knew the regime was mercilessly going to bash them in the press until they knuckled under.
I’m sure the regime will try to take credit with these workers for their raises too.

You think that will help? The democrats will accuse McDonalds or any other company of something else and want more kickbacks.

They can pay them fifty dollars an hour if they want to. I do not go to McDonalds. If the other establishments price their product higher than I am willing to pay, I will stay out of their establishments also.

Now what will lefties complain about?
This is the market at work. Sometimes it’s cheaper to raise wages than to keep retraining your workforce.

In the “old days” (meaning in this case the 90s), we traveled a lot with young kids.
McDonalds, for whatever shortcomings the food had, was always a safe bet relative to cleanliness.
I believe that’s the real problem they have today, and where they need to spend the money.

I think Taco Cabana did a pay hike, not sure. But I do know their Barbacoa went up $6.00
per LB in a day to $18 from $12 (sp). I went to Fiesta and got a LB for $8.99 I think.
I was talking to a customer there who was helping me translate to the cashier
what I wanted, (Yea, no English) and he said they didn't deserve more money
because it was a starter job. People get it, but Corps want to pander.
And guess who they "think" will pay for their pandering.
