Bold statement to which I would reply, so what.

It couldn’t possibly be that Selleck is of a conservative bent?

Best drama on TV right now. Never miss it and watch the reruns.

My Mom loves this program.

The left probably hates it because it is thought-provoking, conservative, and sympathetic to Law Enforcement.

JMHO.

I try to watch it whenever it's on

I remember him as Magnum PI in short shorts and lost track of TV until maybe 2004 when my first wife died and I became a vegetable

The wise guy beach bum grew up and is one of the wiser father figures in HELLywood.

The wife and I like it. I think it doesn’t get good press because Selleck’s character is a conservative no-nonsense police commissioner with a mostly intact family. It show values that the left despises, including positive displays of faith.

Blue Bloods is not necessarily a Conservative show, but it does reinforce good old American values. I am sure the critics don’t comment as it isn’t ‘cutting edge’ (vulgar, prurient, etc) and critics tend to like shows that push the envelope. It is a fabulous show and a good example for traditional families. They end the show with the entire extended Catholic family saying grace and having Sunday dinner together. If you haven’t seen it, give it a try. It’s really good.

It's a good show and I enjoy watching it. However I don't think its any different from anything else I've seen. I always had a problem with shows that setup a binary problem and the hero of the show comes along with the "third way" to solve the problem Thereby avoiding having to make any real tough decisions.

That's Frank's solution to everything whether as part of the plot of the show or when his family is debating at Sunday dinner. It's an effect that is quite pronounced when you have such a moralizing character and family.

But I will still continue to watch.

As much as I like Tom Selleck I simply cannot bring myself to watch a drama set in NY about NY police. It’s been done to death.

I never miss the show. Great family values. Every episode features the family sitting down together for Sunday dinner - complete with a prayer.

That alone tells you why many would find the series revolting.

Oh...and it paints “police” in a positive manner. Again, revolting to some.

We wouldn’t miss it, and will have major withdrawal symptoms when we ditch cable (it comes on after bedtime). ‘Course, there’s always Hulu.

"I say that we are as good as any dramatic show on television."

Isn't that a bit like being the smartest kid in summer school?

Oh
My
God
!
This is television, people.
The folks you see are following a prepared script...where to go and what to say.

TV! TV! TV! TV! TV! TV! TV! TV!

Crap!...it isn’t that the gummint has failed the people, it is that the people have failed those who govern.

Watched the complete show for the first time last week (I’m short on patience when it comes to sitting down to TV) It was really good, so I’ll tune in from now on.

Tom Selleck makes a great TV head of the family.

it appears that Frank doesn't have a fondness for programs such as Restorative Justice, where criminals have the opportunity to seek forgiveness from their victims with face-to-face meetings.

Thank God. Restorative justice is a behaviorist libtard doctrine. They believe that the cause of crime is not the personal choices and responsibility of the criminal, but is the result of the effects of a bad environment on the individual. Therefore punishment should be inflicted on society, not the criminal. What the criminal needs is re-education and forgiveness rather than punishment.

I like Tom Selleck.

That being said, this show is just a “token conservative” show.

I’ve never even seen it, but I know that it has done the obligatory homosexual themed plots aimed at chipping away at the morals of Christians who watch the show, very subtly, very cleverly. Undoubtedly uses the typical means to “chip away” on all sorts of issues, helping to promote the elites’ programs.

Let’s transform culture, conforming it to Christianity.

IMHO...

Stop watching Hollywood entertainment, start creating true Christian entertainment.
