As Al Sharpton ran for mayor of New York City in 1997 and for president in 2003, fires at his offices reportedly destroyed critical financial records, and he subsequently failed to comply with tax and campaign filing requirements. As I write today at National Review, investigators deemed the 1997 fire at Sharpton’s campaign headquarters “suspicious” from the start. It began at a hair-and-nail salon one floor below, and FDNY photos show both traces of an incendiary puddle and what appears to be a singed rag next to a fuse box.

The Rev. Al Sharpton, along with his nonprofit National Action Network and two for-profit firms, have $4.7 million in outstanding debt and liens, according to federal and state tax records, the New York Post reported on Sunday.
Among the debts include $806,875 that Sharpton owes the state, along with $2.6 million in federal liens against him for unpaid personal income taxes, the Post stated.
Recent filings showed the National Action Network owed $813,576 to the federal government at the end of 2012, and his company Rev-Al Communications owes $447,826 to the state, while the Bo-Spanky Consulting firm has $18.21 in outstanding debt, according to the Post.

Wonder if he DIDN’T pay the mob for insurance protection or he DID pay for services...
If Bill Clinton were still president, he’d have the FBI investigating if these fires were started by racist Jews or racist Republicans.
