This was discovered late last year, and just hitting the news recently. Lensing is pretty common, as are extragalactic supernovas, but this is a first for both at the same time. I’m assuming that the supernova is actually behind the galaxy that it appears in, but they haven’t made it exactly clear yet.
Correction I just read somewhere else that it is actually behind.
If Dark Matter exists on this website then that would account for the appearance of multiple images of posts (which has been getting more and more common lately.)
These are not as previously thought the product of multiple hits on the “Post” button by the members but rather he lensing of the comments in question.

The time delay is noticeable due to the vast distances covered in intertube travel.
