‘Tantalizing’ discovery of ancient tool in Oregon prompts ‘extreme skepticism’

The discovery of this tool below a layer of undisturbed ash that dates to 15,800 years old means that this tool is likely more than 15,800 years old, which would suggest the oldest human occupation west of the Rockies, U.S. Bureau of Land Management Burns District archaeologist Scott Thomas said in the release.
But! Dont get too excited, because the Associated Press spoke with Donald K. Grayson, a professor of archaeology at the University of Washington, and he didnt seem completely sold on the find just yet.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

I guess they haven’t reached a consensus yet.

“Archaeologists ran a blood residue test on the orange tool and found that it might have been used on a relative of the buffalo youd see today.”
I find it amazing that after 15,800 years, laying in the dirt and ash, that they are able to decode genetic material found on it.

    “...west of the Rockies”
This find will no doubt be covered on the open caller line to Art Bell.

Is Art Bell still on the Radio?
I thought he was finally abducted by aliens.

I find myself in near total agreement with my learned archaeological colleagues and the highly respected author of the article. That object almost definitely has the possibility, or the potential, perhaps, to be somewhat plausibly offered as an
objet made by a paleolithic human, indeed, an "artifact" of some sort or other.
This astounding hypothesis becomes all the more conceivable peradventure in poor lighting.

To: Zeneta
I read where he was going to be on internet radio or something one of these days again. I was thinking of saying George Noory, but not sure if he uses the “west of the Rockies” thing or not.
I miss Art. Something like this would be right up his alley. Tools left by a forner civilization (giants, Annanaki, aliens, etc.) that were wiped out by worldwide volacnic activity. Unless they escaped to Mars first. (But hard to explain that - when the tool is nothing more than a rock.)

I must admit that I’ve gone to bed on many many occasions with either Bell or Noory playing on the radio.
It’s all BS, but they did put together a good show.
