In a Facebook post following his interview with CNNs New Day, Dr. Ben Carson issued a statement, apologizing for saying people who change their sexual orientation after going to jail shows that being gay is a choice. [ ]
I support human rights and Constitutional protections for gay people, and I have done so for many years. I support civil unions for gay couples, and I have done so for many years. I support the right of individual states to sanction gay marriage, and I support the right of individual states to deny gay marriage in their respective jurisdictions, Carson said.
During the CNN interview, Carson indicated that civil issues like same-sex marriage should be left up the states.
Heres what I would do. I would do what the Constitution says. Constitution says: civil issue of that nature should be determined at the state level. Why does it say that? Because the judicial system at the state level has to answer to the people, he said in the interview.
Carson also suggested that two peopleregardless of sexual orientationshould be legally allowed to determine property rights and visitation rights.

I think Ben forgot to consult the SUPREME AUTHORITY on the matter before spouting off such anti-God rhetoric. God will not be mocked, even by a famous surgeon.
PS. . .I still think Franklin Graham would be an excellent President of the United States.
Carson should have just said that in the beginning and skipped the part where prison sex is a choice. I would argue that being held down by 4 other guys is not a choice. LOL!
Well, there he goes. Not going to support him now.
It's incredible how so many conservatives rush to embrace presidential wannabees without any thought or instinct as to their experience plus their ability to garner votes, organize effective campaign infrastructures and attract heavy contributions on a nation-wide basis....i.e., the Herman Cains, the Rick Sanctus-Santorums, the Rand Paulettes, etc. come to mind....not to mention hopefuls such as Fiorino, Trump, Pataki and the Huckster.
They just don't hold up under the long haul.
It was only a matter of time before the inexperienced Carson imploded from the gays taking him out. If the gay lobby can intimidate Carson, can Putin be far behind?
Bye, bye, Ben.....you obviously didn't know that without firmly espousing clearly-defined and long-held moral/cultural/family standards everything sooner or later comes out in the swish.
