There's nothing in this world that your cat loves more than the giant box in your basement - not even you. For a cat, a box can serve as a rip-roaring good time, a place to safely descend into sweet slumber, or as temple of solitude when humans are being utterly insufferable. In fact, boxes are so pleasing to felines, even the big ones like to get their box on.

Yes, they are. If I ever find myself face to face with one of these beautiful creatures, I will have to rethink my strategy of pretending to be a cardboard box.

Boxes and sacks. Right now, ours are playing with the empty dog food sack. Why is it empty? Because more fun than an empty dog food sack is playing hockey with all the dog food they emptied out onto the kitchen floor. The even emptied the dog bowl so there’s food everywhere. Never mind it hurts my feet because it’s FUUUUUUUUUNNNNNN!

Years ago I bought my children big boxed gifts for Christmas. They loved the gifts!
That afternoon I noticed the gifts thrown in a corner and the kids playing in the boxes. I believe they like the big empty boxes better.

They’re “just cats” that weigh well over twice as much as the average human and are reputedly strong enough to carry a full-grown cow over a ten-foot fence in their jaws.

I’ve got 3 and without fail if there’s a bag or a box on the floor they all have to get in or on it at least once, never fails.
