Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson is being treated for cancer.
A statement on the band’s website said he was diagnosed just before Christmas after a small cancerous tumor was found at the back of his tongue.
He has just completed a seven-week course of chemotherapy and radiology treatment, and is expected to make a full recovery.
“As the tumor was caught in the early stages, the prognosis, thankfully, is extremely good,” the statement said. …

Eddie Van Halen went through this a few years ago. I think he had to have part of his tongue replaced.
I don’t think more cowbell is the prescription he needs.
But he’s gotta feva
I’m so very glad it was caught early, and already treated, and his prognosis looks to be 100% cured by May.
We’ve already lost far too many legendary musicians due to disease or accidents.
What surprised me the most was seeing they’re possibly putting the finishing touches on a new album.
