The results so far are kind of neat. Our dog is very much in tune with our moods, etc. Very empathetic. I have tested him with words and he consistently reacts to 31 of them. New people have to prove themselves but then he’s very friendly or hostile according to his and our perceptions. Our current French Bulldog mix is the smartest we’ve had. Very athletic as well.

My dog has many thoughts.
Where is my boss?
When will he look at me?
When will we go to bed? It's after 9:00!
The mailman is four minutes late today. I will bark extra.
Feel like herding the cat.
I need a treat.
Please stop closing doors!
More pillows and blankets please?
I feel guilty, there was more than six inches of space from me and the boss today. I will do better.
I smell pasta sauce cooking mmmmmmmmmmmm. Drool.

Beautiful dogs, Australian Heelers. How lucky you are to have one shadow you like that for 14 years! May you have many more together.
Mine is a Maltese. We call it velcro dog syndrome.
