Such doublespeak— you see it a lot today. Fringe, crazy groups try to take words and ideas and change their meaning or ban them. No, it has never been Christian to abort a baby!
Orwell lives. As my Dad used to say about Marxists, they simply redefine words to mean what they want them to mean.
A lot of Christian ministers aren’t doing their jobs. Is why we get ones like this.

Amen. When I was a child preachers took St. Paul’s words seriously. They would rebuke those who strayed.
