Notice how quickly Annie and Selma fell down the deep dark hole never to be spoken of again.

even the descriptions of these movies sound bad. I heard that audiences literally jeered and boo’d “Jupiter Ascending” a while back before the release.

I saw Project Almanac yesterday. It's a rehash of the time travel- mess up the future plot. But it's well done for a younger generation, with a theme of accepting responsibility for ones actions. It doesn't have elaborate special effects or bizarre episodes of violence. It's a very pleasant movie, without a big budget.
Maybe Hollywood should just give up on huge budgets, over-the-top special effects, sensationalism for the sake of it, and make good movies? I don't think I'm the only moviegoer who doesn't want to be overwhelmed by a movie, just entertained, enlightened, appreciative of a worthwhile and enjoyable experience.

It’s February, it’s the time of flops. Generally there’s 1 non-flop in February, and that’s a Valentine’s Day chick flick, other than that it’s the dumping ground and everybody expects all the movies to tank miserably.

I find it weird that Obama’s low information voters “snubbed” Selma but rushed to the theaters this weekend to see Sponge Bob. That’s insane.
