Don’t get a back-up alarm, get the meat-grinder attachment for your trailer hitch.
You’ll be doing the world a favor.
Oops! Did I say that out loud?

It’s called a “snow blower attachment”.
One in front and one in back.

I just need something to blow the pedestrians away from the rear of the vehicle when I’m backing out. Something VERY LOUD!

Consider a used tuba with one of those cigarette lighter tire inflators. That ought get you some serious Oompah! Plus shiny brass just looks good on a vehicle.

Umm..
Actually your kitties haven’t graduated from the “Iz here to helpz u” class yet. If they had completed the course on “Help” they would be napping ON the keyboard...
(That of course being the most HELPful location for their assistance...)

I was thinking more in terms of a train horn, but I think it would be too big for my vehicle...Geo Tracker...
But thanks. I like tubas!

Recorded automatic weapons fire should do the trick.

True... I think it’s the wiring, but I don’t know anyone who can troubleshoot it for what I can afford to pay.

I can shoot it cheap, but I’m not that good at troublelshooting auto sound systems.

There is a place in Vegas that will do it, but it would take almost an entire morning for me to get there and get back. They said they would troubleshoot it free, but if the unit itself is faulty, they would want to replace it. That would be $149 including tax and labor.
