Fifty Shades of Grey is set to feature more sex on screen than the 100 raunchiest films released in 2014 put together, making it the most erotic mainstream movie in a decade. The film, which premieres on Valentine's Day features a dozen sex scenes, which make up 20 minutes of its total 100-minute running time. This follows an interview with actor Jamie Dornan, who plays main man Christian Grey, where he says he 'does not believe it is pornographic or even erotic.'

There is a mini industry in the Amazon kindle store where soft porn writers put out two or three books a month. If you can write gay porn..you could be king of the world.
Forgetting about the porn aspect for a second, the book is badly written technically, the characters are one-dimensional, and the books about sparkly vampires are more believable.
This was a book I couldn’t finish 50 pages. It doesn’t even qualify as good porn.

I will never forget beingn invited to a coworkers and his family’s house in the early 70’s and having been shown the film Deep Throat after dinner. It was so embarrassing. Mom dad daughter son and son in law. My husband and I were speechless.
I knew the world had truly shifted.

I will. GoT has an interesting story and interesting characters. I’m not the slightest bit embarrassed at stating I like GoT but thing 50 Shades is a waste of paper
One would have thought that they could have gotten some longer burning candles...
So what they are saying is that because it is written on a middle school level of literary competence, it’s kiddy porn. Not buying that one. All characters are of age and not being forced into anything. Not saying it’s good, Just not buying into this take on it

Yep, that’s about right. (Those who have several kids will understand)
LOL. GOT is heavy on nekkid people because it is a cheap and easy way to attract an audience, and because nekkid people is a big part of the HBO brand, and therefore part of the justification for paying for a premium channel. I cannot think of a single GOT sex scene that could not have been shot fully or mostly clothed, with the nekkidness off-screen or implied. But that's not HBO.
I think I made up the name after our 3 were here. I think it would have been fun if I’d have known about FR with the first one.. momtoone, momtotwo, then momtothree. As for any speculation of a momtofour.. bite your tongue! LOL.

I’ve read reports where people that have checked the book out of their local library have caught an STD.
Now that’s funny right there!
And lest you forget . . . there are something like three volumes of this book - so expect more movies (assuming of course that the first one doesn’t bomb as some are predicting).
Hey, Thrones has boobs, dwarves, snow giants AND fire breathing dragons.
What does this "mommy porn" have? Some handcuffs and a whip?
Methinks dungeon torture serves a storyline outside of just titillating the loins.
That said - if you took out the nudity and sex in Thrones, you still have a great medieval fantasy with interesting characters and a dynamic storyline.
Take nudity and sex out of this "mommy porn" and what would you have????? Another drama about the mythical glass ceiling of women at work and their secret fantasies with the boss?
That movie should be rated “NA” (Not for Anyone).
No question the book is poorly written.
But this is a professional’s take on it, someone who has dealt for 20 years with the abuse of children.
All characters are of age in a chronological sense, and have to be to maintain the cover of mommy porn.
But what is the girl’s mental age. She is portrayed as a college student who can’t even use a computer, and who is woefully naive for a person 20 years old or so.
Sometimes a story is just a story.
But sometimes it is more. The analysis is quite disturbing.
I pray that this disgusting piece of garbage fails miserably in terms of earnings.
