I do think that Pope Francis will give sedevacantist groups quite a boost.

The aberrosexual NFL washout Michael Sam “proposed” to the guy whose body he uses for masturbatory friction on the cupola of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome – exactly, directly over the tomb of St. Peter. Because there was no other place on the surface of the earth that these shameless sodomites could have mocked and aped the sacrament of marriage. They had to do it whilst LITERALLY dancing on the grave of St. Peter.

Give 'em hell Ann.

“I’m hearing lots of people tell me that they are seriously thinking of leaving the Church because of Francis.”

I have heard nothing about Catholics wanting to leave the church because of Pope Francis. Most people that I know are not effected at all by the numerous iterations in the media of the Pope's many ambiguous statements. Their faith is far stronger than that.

I’m hearing lots of people tell me that they are seriously thinking of leaving the Church because of Francis. Lots of people are looking at the Eastern Orthodox, sedevacantist groups, or just ceasing to go to Mass. And satan oinks and squeals with delight.

As one who has a dog in the general hunt though not in this particular houndfest...cutting oneself off from the Body and Blood being an issue I can understand, but how is choosing to fellowship with the Orthodox causing Satan to "oink and squeal"? Wherever and whenever the Name of Jesus, His Majesty as God the Son, His Word, and His work yesterday, today, and forever are glorified, Satan is forced to flee in torment, while He who sits in heaven laughs.

I sincerely regret any discomfort my statement about the Pope causes (I am not a Catholic though I attended Mass as a teen) but this Pope is a left wing, intellectually vacuous socialist.

Very passionate and thought-provoking essay.

To this:

...the thought of abandoning Our Lord and His ONE Church because of a staggeringly stupid South American Jesuit is as unthinkable as angrily severing a relationship with a parent, spouse or child because they were diagnosed with cancer.

I say AMEN!
