Skipping to the end:
Consider, if you will, what happens to a person who suggests that Sarah Palin is anything other than saintly. Right off the bat, they are accused of disliking America or Alaska or conservatives or mothers or the working class or even women in general and then they are informed that their hatred is showing. Next, their motives are questioned and their supposedly secret agenda is exposed for the world to see, for no right-thinking person could dislike Palin on the merits, natch. I hope you enjoy your elite cocktail parties, the apologists will say, and then they will huffily tell you that they hope signaling that you are one of them was worth it. And finally as is the case when one expresses disapproval of other cult figures, such as President Obama, Ron Paul, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, and Paul Krugman it is presumed that all animadversion must be motivated by envy or by snobbery or by secret admiration, and that it can therefore be safely ignored. What have you done, they will ask, that compares to my paragon of virtue? All told, its really quite pathetic.
Having been mercilessly and unjustly pilloried by the media throughout the 2008 campaign, Sarah Palin had a clear choice in its aftermath: She could sober up and prove the buggers wrong, or she could collapse into ignominious pasquinade. Sadly, she chose the latter. The rest of us should choose to move on.

I woke up this morning feeling very pasquinade. Do you think ibuprofen would help?
Yes, but as the kneepad journal of record for the gop-e, they fulfill an important role in transmitting spin and talking points. Sort of like the NYT does for the ‘rats.
Doesn’t the outpouring of concernnn just strike you as touching? Little did we know that the gop faction of the uniparty was so concernnnned about our welfare.
Umm.... Did you see Scott Walker Speech?
He wasn't in Mid-Campaign Mode, he speech IMHO was in the Home Stretch aka August / Sept 16 mode.
Everyone should have brought their "A" game right out of the shoot, this is a long rode to the finals and use any sports analogy you want, every race, skate etc counts to make it to Nationals i.e. pre-Olympic performace is needed to win here...
I’ll see your concern about his concern, and raise with heartfelt angst and trepidation.
Heard clips of speech and agree with
one commenter to article: she sounded drunk.
Maybe drunk with celebrity bravado.
08:”Gee Katie I don’t really read
She gives some conservatives hard-ons.
After hearing the clip compilation
I didn’t want to hear five minutes
of her talking let alone 4 or 8years
of ‘Madame President’. With her inexperience
to me she’s the GOP’s Barack Obama. She
sounded liks an unfunny comedian.
Hillary has been running since the 1970s. That’s why her treads are so thin.
Who please, do you prefer?
Works both ways - some shouldn’t be elected and some shouldn’t be allowed to vote.
ANOTHER “Palin is unelectable” article? She definitely still has the left’s and republican establishment’s attention.
Yeah, but the author succinctly overlooked a critical element shared by all successful candidates: She has not declared herself a candidate yet, that would be the first step.
Thank you. Palinistas screeching over and over that rent-free meme has gotten beyond tiresome.
“Ill see your concern about his concern, and raise with heartfelt angst and trepidation.”
Now I’m troubled, very troubled.
We should hold a Concern Summit.
>> “Her speech this weekend was horrible.” <<
To people like you and John Boehner, I’m sure that’s true.
FR is presently overloaded with noobs of your stripe, that haven’t the slightest idea what we’re here for.
Sarah’s speech was wonderful, and exactly what the GOPe scum despise.
Prepare to choose between Hitlery, and Hitlery with gonads clipped in 2016.
>> “She did stand out though, in a negative way, by giving a rambling speech with no theme.” <<
Where do all of your kind come from?
Her speech had a theme, celebration of the America that was before air heads like you were mistakenly allowed to vote!
