This week I had the one and only Dean Cain on the show. Not only did he double down on his comments toward Michael Moore, but he did them in a way that only Superman could. How can you not LOVE this guy?!
"Would I love to give him a smack on the face if he looked me in the eye, as a man and said that? Well...Put us someplace without a camera..."
He’s done a lot of Christian movies recently. I’ve enjoyed most of them.
The local TV has been playing the old 1950s “Superman” starting at 3 P.M. each weekday.
I can remember coming home from school and turning of that show when I was maybe in 3rd grade.
They always show the “Truth, Justice, and the American Way” with Superman standing in front of an American flag.
I have now seen two different Superman shows in which they use the phrase but say something else instead of “The American Way”. Fortunately Dean is not in those.
Thanks for posting!
I didn’t know that actually.
He was in God’s Not Dead and a few more.
Dean was in one of my movies. Great actor and a terrific guy.
Oh sweet. I’ve never seen it.
We met Mr Cain in the 90’s at a charity softball game. Couldn’t have been nicer. He let me take a picture of him with my 10 year old son. It was our Christmas picture that year!
He plays a not very nice guy. He was very good. I hope you get a chance to see it.
Cain certainly held his own against Denzel Washington in “Out of Time.”
Don’t tug on Superman’s cape.
I like Cain, and watch a lot of his family movies. He was paired with Kris Kyle in the Stars Earn Stripes reality series. It was the first time I had ever heard of Kris Kyle.
I really enjoyed that movie.
Me too. He was also in I Am Gabriel and Meant To Be. Both good movies.
Always glad to hear stories like that. It’s a rarity in this industry sadly.
That was sort of an awkward position to be put into (”If face to face would you punch him out?”). It’s easier (safer) for me (an anonymous guy on the internet) to state, yes, I would drop him like 500 pounds of rancid blubber. ;’)
That’s great! I’d love to see your film! I’m in the industry, too and know about three people who know Dean through work. They all love him.
Well...
Make it into a movie and cast him as himself. 'Twould be the first true documentary he ever did...
Problem is that the title 'The Blob' is already taken, and I'm not so sure 'Rancid Blubber' would be much of a draw. If there was a scene where he got cooked in a big frying pan, you could call it 'Rendered Fat'...
