These kids wish they could eat as well as prison inmates. Prisoner meals were one of the things you never screwed with if you wanted to keep peace in the facility. They were fed well at all meals, with desserts at lunch and supper. Hell, back when Auburn prison (NY) had their own bakery, each convict was able to take a whole loaf of bread back to their cells to make sandwiches later if they wanted.
Hey, it wouldn’t be school cafeteria food if they didn’t server ‘mystery meat’. That’s an all-American staple right there. The rest...........ugh.

so glad I finished highschool in 1990. Loved the pizza, the cinnabuns but don’t recall any other items on the menu!
I’m a lucky guy. I can count, on the fingers of one hand, the times when I’ve been hungry enough to consider eating either one of those. Blessed indeed.

Chickpea slider - chickpeas is hummus but the green is what? Empty chicken nuggets - does that mean just breading with no chicken. Just think the school lunch programs as sponsored by Michelle Obama - tasteless, protein less garbage . Michelle’s vacations and pricey parties - where do you think the money is coming from - the low cost crapstatic meals that the kiddies must eat.

If you agree that the Obamas should be telling everyone what to eat (I don’t), they could at least get the chefs involved on a volunteer basis. They need help. Badly.

Kind of a CHEAP SHOT at our penal system. There is NO WAY that Michelle’s crap could ever be served there as the inmates would riot, BIG TIME.
Let’s not bring prison life down to the level that our kids are forced to endure in today’s public schools...it simply isn’t fair to the dedicated men and women that run our prisons.
