No, I think they just got too carried away with the whole UFO line. The second feature film, IMO, was good. The subject matter was more like what we would see when Fringe came along.

That's another show that went down the wrong trail with a storyline and got lost, just like X-Files.

Definitely, and it’s hard despite the show being dated, for me to be entertained by conspiracy stuff. In fact, it’s hard to beat X-Files, even now, when it is on Netflix.

I think its going to be like a limited series like 24. If its limited then they can focused on 12 episodes and get that hatched down

The term “reboot” has officially become overused.

Especially since David Duchovny & Gillian Anderson returning to X-Files would be a REVIVAL, not a “reboot”. A reboot would be new actors playing the roles and a brand new continuity that is independent of the old show.
