I love classical music also big band and r and b. Most of what came out of the late sixties is drug addled crap

I’m pretty young and I avoid modern “music” like the plague. Classical music is so beautiful. Far more edifying than what the industry puts out today.

I sometimes listen to classical on my commute home from work. I find it calms me down if (when) traffic is bad (as it always is in Houston). Then I am in a decent mood when I get home to the wife.

It takes me back to Alan VanTassel’s basement where along with the likes of Led Zeppelin and Frank Zappa and The Mothers, I first heard this record. Long ago and far away, yet, just like yesterday.
