Police: Cartel claims they have kidnapped Border Patrol agent

A person claiming to be a member of a cartel claims they have kidnapped a border agent and threatened their life, according to police.
Border Patrol is making contact with all personnel in the Rio Grande Valley.
They have now confirmed that all agents working the day of the threat have been accounted for at this time.

It’s time to send the Abrams into Mexico and eradicate the cartels.
Let’s see how there AK-47’s, RPG’s and pickup trucks hold up against 120mm smooth bores, .50 Cal M2HBs and 7.62mm M240’s. We can pull back after the cartels have been eradicated, the corrupt police jailed and the people have been given the right to bear arms for self defense.
All officers on-duty that day are accounted for the article says, now they are checking off-duty officers. I’m thinking that this won’t pan out, all officers will be okay, so watch me be wrong. Thanks for posting the story.

Prayers for that Officer’s safety. I’m surprised this has not been happening before. The President’s words, actions and inactions all serve to increase the boldness of the illegals. Meanwhile, the drug cartels continue their steady encroachment into our sovereign lands.
When confirmed arrest those responsible for not closing the border, because this is an ISIS tactic now showing up in the drug Cartels....so??
Arrest Holder, Obama, Biden, and at which state border? If CA, arrest Brown, if AZ or TX no governor responsible as the last two have cried for a closed border....
It will never be a closed border, but hold those responsible for border agents lives, who refuse to act as responsible politicians....
Do I expect anyone to be held accountable? NO.

According to the wording here the Cartel has kidnaped a border patrol agent and is threatening the life of the members of the Cartel. PC grammar leads to absurdities.
The Mexican Government is corrupt, I’d think they could burn down the opium/marijuana fields but they don’t want to and they apparently have sided some with the Sinaloa Cartel.
Anyone mentioning Camarena, Reagan or Bush had to lean on the Mexican Government to get them to imprison his captor, Caro Quintero.
But with our open border, it’s not like we are exactly taking a lead in eradicating the flow of drugs, maybe it is too hard to do. I don’t know. Maybe if the border were secured, it’d just come by sea or air. Again, I don’t know.

This can’t be true. We don’t have border patrol agents any more. They are all on the welcoming committee.
