This was in the window at a secondhand clothing store down the street from my office. Someone actually bought it a few days ago.
Nothing says "Merry Christmas. I love you, honey" quite as effectively as getting her a Christmas sweater that has the word "HO" in huge lettters on the front of it.

Girlfriends are easy. Just get them chocolate. Lots of it. And for the boyfriends just get them this:

I guess the bathroom scale I bought my wife is out. And it was digital with iridescent numbers; top of the line. Too late to return it and get her something else. It does go with the tile.

Best thing we've done in years .... last April, the half of the house that was still carpeted got switched over to ceramic tile.
The Oreck and rug shampoo machine have been retired, and the whole house can be dustmopped into one little pile for a handheld suckup in less than 15 minutes.

I have an Oreck vacuum cleaner, which I like. I have also heard that Miele is a good model. These may be more expensive than the ones you get at your local Sears or Target, but none of them are made in China.

I'm hearing you.
In our younger days, I'd muster up my courage at Victoria's Secret for a special gift that would be fun for both of us.
Sadly, it's flannel pajamas and wool socks nowadays.
To: Tax-chick
I hope you get what you want.
I asked for a bathrobe. I am going to look like I have joined a convent when I wear it but it is warm, fluffy, doesn't drag on the floor and has a hood.

I have an old plaid flannel robe from L.L. Bean. It doesn’t drag on the floor as a regular thing, but I trip on it going up the stairs. No hood.
I also want a really nice pencil sharpener, but I can get it Office Max at the after-Christmas sale. I have a $10-off coupon!

Scope. Has anyone here ever received a bottle of Scope? Has anyone here ever sent anyone a bottle of Scope? My grandmother always used to give us kids toothbrushes, toothpaste and Listerine for Christmas. We loved her anyway!

Last year my husband gave me an 8 by 10 Top Pix autographed picture of Hugh Jackman, in which he is wearing gold lame pants and a leopard shirt.
I was so horrified that I was speechless. :)
Yes, this is the actual pic.

Years ago a friend received a wheel barrow from her husband.
BUT— she was thrilled!!!!!!!!! She loved gardening, and she told me it was one if the best things he could have given to her!

I have no idea.
Wife says she wants nothing.
Did not want any of the items I suggested and has not come up with anything she wants.
So...guess nothing it is.
We have some money, but not enough to waste on unwanted stuff.
