Wahhabism is an ultra-conservative sect of Sunni Islam named for an eighteenth-century preacher and scholar.
Jamel Khashoggi, a Saudi journalist in Afghanistan during that period, is now head of al-Arab News Channel and a columnist for al-Hayat. At a meeting in Bahrain recently, Khashoggi told me that there has been a major, and unexplored change in Muslim culture, one that is not discussed in the West.
It is "raw Wahhabism," to use his words; this change, this nihilism, this desperation, this destruction of Afghan-Pakistani Pashtun culture. And equally, the terrible tactics of ISIS, which are no different from the Wahhabis in 1802, when they destroyed the Imam Hussein Mosque in Karbala, which Tamerlane spared. And which ISIS now wants to attack again in Iraq.
The Taliban are insecure about their lack of formal education. This is one reason why they destroyed schools. A girl in traditional rural Pashtun culture will disappear into the family compound once she reaches puberty, never to be seen again by an outsider.
But the Taliban, in the 1990s, as they became exposed to the outside world, began to realize the importance of girl's education. There were more girls in school in Afghanistan under the Taliban than any time in history, although the Western media never reported this. There are, of course, more girls in school, by far, today than ever before.

If Jamel is a Saudi journalist during that period(the 18th century), he could be approaching 300 years of age.

Okay ... just finished reading about it on Wikipedia .... awful - totally demented ..... but then, not a member or associated with any radical group.
Muslim men kill women and children because they have small male organs. That’s the only logical explanation. Very short and very small male organs and very small brains. They are filled with envy that they are unable to control themselves and are willing to kill anything that might show them to be the douche-tards and rejects of the planet.

Sadly I’ve become so disgustingly cynical of greedy corrupt politicians, oligarchs, bankers, dictators, gun runners, and other groups throughout the world seeking absolute power enough that I don’t rule anyone or any group out. It may not be politically correct to say it, but I’ve become skeptical of everything the media tells us.
Evil and the desire for absolute power permeates too many in the world and there are truly scum who will do anything like killing children to gain PR advantage over others. There are many strange bedfellows in that region who are too smart for their own britches and will purposely set up enemies of enemies.
The children and the unborn are merely pawns in the political game.

The video of the Amish funeral for the girls was one of the most moving things I have ever seen.

I would do it if the “children” were trying to murder me.
That’s really the only legitimate condition. I don’t allow anyone to murder me. Don’t care how young or old, don’t care what color, don’t care.
Unless I’m quite confused, the bombers were not intentionally targetting children. They were attacking a building and a symbol.
Obviously they didn’t have a lot of qualms about who they might hurt in the process, but they didn’t intentionally try to hurt kids.
They are not men. They are rabid animals and need to be treated as such.
Yes, that is likely true, I don’t really know. But at that time, in American society you’d think they were not intending to kill any person, much less 4 school girls.
But of course you are right. Bombing and arson are both bad, you might well harm someone you didn’t intend to harm.
You see, the Muslims are different. And they get more different by the day.

I want to know why the streets were not lined with the heads of those responsible. The locals know who to look for.
