NWA was nominated. So I guess one could claim the induction choices could've been worse.
On a broken record note....yet again, the Moody Blues weren't even nominated.

Joan Jett was a 1-hit wonder.
The R-and/or-roll HOF is a joke!

The famous Velvet Underground quote is _
“The first Velvet Underground album may have sold only 30,000 copies, but everyone who bought one of those 30,000 copies started a band.”
Lou Reed deserves to get in.

Yeah, except for green day it seems waaaay better than most years recently.
Sure there are probably more deserving folks that haven’t been inducted but at this point who cares? Folks should be grateful their favourite acts aren’t in the same group with all the stiffs that are already in there.

He should go in just for Rock n Roll Animal and Lou Reed Live. That band would have been awesome backing anyone.

SRV was a guitar-slinging machine.
Played the HELL out of his Strat. I BOUGHT a Strat because of him.
RIP Stevie... we hardly knew ye...

Saw Joan Jett in the 80’s.
Loved her music but, was a very conservative concert goer.
Was on the 3rd row, just sitting there and enjoying.
Everyone else was moving and dancing.
She stops, middle of the song, crosses her arms, looks me right in the eyes and shakes her hips.
I went nuts and was up and moving for the rest of the concert...

How about first time inductees instead?

Still no Johnny Rivers either. Rivers is responsible for Jimmy Webb’s success, Glen Campbell, the Fifth Dimension, and not to mention his songwriting and performances.

Ringo Starr is being inducted as an individual? MMM-kay.
Ringo actually has had a decent solo career. Between 1971 and 1975 he had five top-10 hits, and he's the only Beatle to get two number-one songs on the Billboard chart in the same year: "You're Sixteen" and "Photograph" in 1973.
Ringo is touring right now with the current incarnation of his All-Starr Band: Todd Rundgren, Steve Lukather (Toto), Richard Page (Mr. Mister), Gregg Rolie (Santana, Journey), Gregg Bissonette (Spinal Tap--for realz), and Warren Ham (Bloodrock, Kansas).
