Actor Accused Of Killing, Skinning And Then Eating Ex-Girlfriend's Pet Rabbit By Jethro Mullen
December 11, 2014 (CNN) -- TV actor Dimitri Diatchenko is accused of killing his ex-girlfriend's pet rabbit -- and then eating half of it. He then allegedly threatened to do the same to her, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office said in a statement Wednesday.
Diatchenko, who appeared in episodes of "Sons of Anarchy," reportedly made quite a show of the butchery, sending his ex-girlfriend blow-by-blow photos of what he was doing, according to authorities.
The actor told a reporter from CNN affiliate KCAL in a phone interview that it was a hoax, that he didn't really eat the pet. "This is all a misunderstanding. We got into an argument, but I didn't kill the bunny," Diatchenko said.
Instead, he turned the rabbit loose, he told KCAL, and purchased rabbit meat to make her think it was the pet he had eaten. DA's statement
Diatchenko and his ex-girlfriend had been living together "for some time" after the end of their romantic relationship, the statement said.

please tell me that you don’t do so. . .
Does any room you enter mysteriously clear of people for the next several days afterwards, lol?
“domestic pet rabbits have no survival skills like their wild brothers do.”
Well, I’d generally agree, but I’ve seen white rabbits that have escaped in suburban areas survive for several years somehow. I had one that was so downright vicious that many predators would regret trying to attack it.
You’ll die of starvation if you don’t eat the bunny long before the lack of fat has time to affect you.
I thought it was a nice round number.
Whew!
What we got here is... failure to communicate.
So, it appears that this bit actor, who seems to usually play Russian d-bags, is a Russian d-bag!
We have a bunch of “domestic” looking bunnies in our area that either got away or were set free who have been running around for years. They are a variety of colors. It has been going on so long that I assume that they are breeding in the wild as well. They look healthy. We haven't got a lot of poisonous plants in the Northwest; they probably can eat a variety of local greenery along with gardens and yards. They probably dine on handouts meant for squirrels and wild bunnies also.
That was on the news a couple of days ago. I liked how the local news hyped it as “Sons of Anarchy” actor kills....blah, blah..
The actor was just a one or perhaps two time actor on the Sons of Anarchy. BS crap news.
When I was young, I left town for a few days and my friend’s brother had eaten my goat. Well he had some ducks he was fond of, so guess what I had for dinner?
That needs some garlic in it. :-)
You have no idea how happy I was to see the words pet rabbit in the title!

You and me both, I don’t think I could handle another horror show story.
“Apparently you can eat the brains and eyes for fat though.”
That would explain it. My two barn kitties kill wild bunnies and rats but the usually consume only the heads. I must be feeding them too well. I’ll just continue to bury the bodies and feed the kitties.

That isn't bad for what we have been getting lately. Also, if this were a 'true' Russian badass, he wouldn't have taken the time to skin, saute` and butter fry.
He would have pulled its head of with his teeth and gone from there.
Umm Katrina...das is goodt or
Umm Катрина ... is goodt
How appetizing!
.
Interesting. I have long been an egg fan. I think many of the gov nutritionists are full of beans.
In my experience, rabbits prefer to be killed before they are eaten.
