Heres the response from Raelian Thomas Kaenzig to Walgreens removal of the wrapping paper:
We feel outraged by Walgreens decision and ask for this gift wrapping paper to be made available again. Its unacceptable for us to see a major U.S. retail chain ban this symbol that is so dear to billions around the world.
Billions may be a stretch, although even after the Nazi Party stigmatized the ancient sign, the swastika continues to be a religious symbol with various meanings in Hinduism and Buddhism.

The Raelians are fruit loops but the loons who go ballistic over a shape that happens to fall into the form of a swastika need to find something important to worry about.
Until you blew it up and circled it, I didn’t even see a swastika. Go figure...
So what? Swastikas are EVERYWHERE. The logos for a lot of companies are forms of swastikas like those of Chase Bank, Columbia outerwear, and etc. It’s a simple and fundamental geometric shape and its recurrance should not be offensive to anyone so long as the context is not with National Socialism.
Called out one grocer who had Catholic votive candles on the Kosher shelf ... no biggie, just thought it hilarious.
Growing up our house had a bathroom tile floor that had a swastika pattern to it. When I pointed this out to my mother she was surprised she had never noticed it before. She said some nazi probably installed it.
LOL, I did not see that one either until issue was made. I wish I had as much time on my hands as half this country seems to.
Here are a bunch of buildings that form a swastika when viewed from above.
Any reasonable person can see this is for reasons of site shape and maximizing exterior walls for ventilation and light.
But NO, has to be promoting stupid ideologies.
Maybe the wax was beeswax? Is beeswax Kosher? Anyone?
Somewhere, in this world is (or was) a public building that when viewed from the air formed an exact swastika.
Ha! I bet the MU guys had a field day with this one.
Love that show.
I was watching a show about nazi spiritualism the other day and the nazis used the similarity to suck the Buddhists in.
There are some traditional native American symbols that are similar.
Many, many, in fact.
If you concentrate on the gold you don’t notice it. Only when you look at the blue do you see it.
Absurd! They usually appear on the Mexican shelf.
