There is another James Bond movie in the works, the 24th in the series of gun-slingin', sex-havin', Russia-or-whoever-it-is-nowadays-hatin' flicks to appear on-screen since Sean Connery kicked the whole thing off. But next year's film, Spectre, features something rarely seen in the Bond world: an age-appropriate co-star.
The so-called "Bond girl," in this film, is Monica Bellucci, age 50. For a franchise that has been built on the idea that Britain's most famous spy has no qualms about romantic entanglements with a teenager (Aliza Gur was a teenager while filming "From Russia With Love"), it's a step forward.

I don't believe it's over the top, but some folks may wish to take a pass if they would be offended by upper body nudity, done rather tastefully.
Be still, my heart.
She is a teenage boy’s wet dream.
I know women in their 40's and 50's who will date only men 10-15 years younger than they are. Actually, some of the women I've known married men 10-20 years their junior.
I hope my sons marry women their own age. But, some people age early, whereas others age later, such as Monica Bellucci. Her youngest child is only 4 years old.
Don’t know about that anymore (LOL), but I’ll vouch for the mid 60s version.
She is more attractive than many women half her age.
For a younger man, this is your classic May-December romance.
Loved Adrian Paul in the Highlander series. (For the record, I’m female.) Yes, he would’ve made a great Bond.
I wonder why women are not more insulted by the insinuation that an “older woman” is not a suitable mate for a man her own age.
Be glad they’re having Bond fall for a woman. These days, a homosexual Bond wouldn’t surprise me.
No Judi Dench?
I should know.
I dated an older woman in my 40s. It was the best time of my life.
And well you know, the best part of it was the horizontal mambo. Unforgettable!
They say younger women are hot but from my admittedly biased experience, that’s far from true.
Maybe for once a “James Bond” girl can be glamorus in the age range in which she would be offered membership to AMAC.us or the Association of Mature American Citizens. :) =^..^=
Should be Taylor Swift. She’s a cutie.
Who cares? I still would.
I'm still mad they killed her off.
I’ll assume you did not see Skyfall?
It has been my take, that at least some women like the rugged guy look. Most guys don't like that look in their woman.
Yes, beauty does play into it for men. And while I do think it's an appropriate aspect to consider, I myself find the lack of baggage to be even more attractive.
I find myself willing to take on a woman without assigning everything, that happened bad in my life at the hands of another woman, to her. It's rare I can find a woman my age who can say the same thing when it comes to men.
The sad thing is, the younger woman can't look back with you concerning historical events that took place during your lives like a mature woman can. So ultimately you steal that from yourself, if you're not wise.
Then again, so many people have let themselves go over time. I have too a little. Not that bad really. Time does have it's effects though.
It's harder and harder to find a woman that fills the bill. I recognize the same could be said of me too.
Some people think it's only the sex. Well that's part of it. At a certain point sex is nice, but there's so much more.
Ah life..., isn't it grand. :^)
